I became known for my ability to work with people who just wanted to cut down, not stop all sorts of things: like chocolate, coffee, soft drink, alcohol, drugs, running, gym time, yoga classes, even work. It’s not the thing that is the problem, it’s who is in control, who is running the show. It’s up to you, if you want to stop or cut down, just be clear with yourself. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing, it just has to be you who is in control, making the choice, managing the habit.
